The highlight of her career was in establishing and development of critical care nursing. Along with contributing to the clinical training of intensive care nurses, she coached and mentored them by helping to foster a learning environment for self-development. While residing there the war between Iran and Iraq broke out and this experience tested her knowledge, skills, and ability especially regarding creativeness and innovation in an environment where economic resources were limited.
After the war ended, Judy became involved in the creating and establishing the foundation for liver transplant in Shiraz. Again, she was involved in the training, coaching, and mentoring of nurses and expanding the utility of Critical Care Unit by providing nursing care for transplanted patients. She then went on to establish an English Language Institute in Abadeh (Fars Province) Iran.
Her passion for becoming a professional coach was reconfirmed while studying for her doctoral degree. Judy is a compassionate individual and embraces cultural diversity.
